Well, it’s done. Woody and I packed up all our worldly belongings and spent four days last week driving cross country from NYC to Denver. To say it was hard to leave is an understatement and it all still feels a bit unreal. I miss my friends, my usual routine and knowing where I’m going. It’s like we’re on a weird vacation where we packed way too much and decided to stay in an apartment rather than a hotel. I start my new job tomorrow so I imagine it will begin to sink when I start going to meetings and answering emails. God, I have to say I am really looking forward to having an empty inbox!
I haven’t been out running yet as the weekend has been a bit hectic but our apartment sits near a park and I plan to run – or try to run – soon! I hear it takes a bit of time to get acclimated to running at this altitude so it will be interesting to see how this goes! I plan to take the run/walk approach.

That’s it for tonight. I hope to have some more interesting stuff for you soon!
