NYC Favorite Places

With this being a blog partially about NYC, I thought I’d start sharing with you some of my favorite places around the city! Saturday was the first time in over a month that I was able to go out and enjoy the morning without crutches. I made a trip to the Union Square farmers market to stock up on a few Thanksgiving essentials and then checked out a few shops in the area, including Fishs Eddy. I love all the unique treasures and vintage style. I went into the shop without needing anything in particular, but I left with two little treasures; check them out below!

  • Have you ever been to Fishs Eddy? What did you think?
  • Do you shop at independently owned stores?
  • Would you ever eat off a polka dotted plate?

Love the place ! Wish they still made the Central Park dish line .

They must be starting the Chrisymas decorating. I'll miss not seeing the wonderful sights this year. Hopefully the City will not be deluged with snow this year.

I love that store, check out the bowery kitchen supply store on delancy and bowery for good deals on essentials too. They have terrible hours, just mon-fri 9-6, but they have saved me so much money thru the years.

Have I ever mentioned how jealous I am of your location?! I would really love to spend a year or two living there. So much cool stuff right at your disposal!

I love Fish's Eddy! I was wandering one day and found it...I bought my dad a mug from there for Christmas last year.

When I actually get around to buying myself dishes and such (my roommate has them, so I didn't get my own), I'll probably buy them from here.

I know what you mean! Our small apartments aren't great for entertaining.

They have such great every day dishes! I wish we had more space so I could buy all the fun pieces they have!

I've seen some of those stores, but like you said, they're never open when I'm there! I imagine they're great resources when you're going to be doing a lot of baking or cooking!

They remodeled a bit since we were there in August. We'll go again when you come out next time.
