MIssing Workouts {Giveaway Winners}

The past few days have been a bit of a fog. Saturday I woke up congested, which is pretty much the norm but as soon as we started our 7 mile run on the High Line Canal Trail my throat began to hurt. Not a good sign.

After the run, I was more tired than usual and when we hit up a neighborhood coffee shop with an amazing tofu scramble, the coffee tasted strange. Again, not a good sign.

But not to waste the day we checked out three Denver landmarks participating in Doors Open Denver, a weekend-long event when people can get a behind-the-scenes look at buildings and houses throughout the city that are usually not open to the public.

By the time we got home, I was done. Exhausted. The rest of my weekend was awash. Thankfully it rained all day Sunday so I didn't miss out on a beautiful day, but I have missed two workouts. Be it injury or illness, sometimes you just have to know when to take it easy and give yourself a chance to get better.
