You may, or may not, know that my Mom's little brother Uncle Irvy, ran track and did some filed events for Michigan Tech way back, and I ran track in high school ( 1/2 mile and mile as we referred to them back then with best times of 2:01 and 4:19) and more than a few nicks and bruises from soccer, including a runner up state championship ring for soccer in HS. It is cool that you and Jordan have continued the tradition, probably without even knowing it.

BR,
Yoru favorite Uncle Johnamrion nutraceuticalshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08746607633678611226noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4742209008670744276.post-12461964954381917082011-01-13T19:24:21.885-07:002011-01-13T19:24:21.885-07:00Didn't start running until I was 40!Didn't start running until I was 40!Detroit Runner(Jeff)https://www.blogger.com/profile/03340721120260257973noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4742209008670744276.post-83820470281714538962011-01-13T13:16:30.672-07:002011-01-13T13:16:30.672-07:00Go Jordan! It's amazing how discipline in one area carries over to the other.Gracehttp://www.theleangirlsclub.wordpress.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4742209008670744276.post-58317313068660685952011-01-13T11:14:10.889-07:002011-01-13T11:14:10.889-07:00I don't think my college even HAD a track team...I don't think my college even HAD a track team. We were...not well known for our sports. Except swimming. We were national champs year after year for swimming. No other sports really did well, though. I know we had a football team, but that was about it.

I would take up jogging about every six months in college. I would go out every day for a week. But, I was too busy drinking, smoking cigarettes, and reading philosophy books to really stick with it, so nothing ever came of it.

I sometimes wonder where I'd be if I had started running earlier in life.Rose @ Eat, Drink, and Be Meirihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10321795284708416331noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4742209008670744276.post-54115232514841908162011-01-13T09:55:40.734-07:002011-01-13T09:55:40.734-07:00Love this post.
